Hi - this is probably a stupid question. I am going to discontinue with Sky after the year is up... does Sky take away the Sky box and dish?

    Thanks in advance!

Technically on the day they leave it, it is yours.

    Tons fo good Free channels.

Saw the maddest thing behind my house. The occupants did have Chorus MMDS, but got Sky, Minidish on back wall, took down MMDS dish on Chimney.

This week I noticed a new MMDS dish with its chimney lashing kit bolted to their back wall just beside the Sky Dish with the cable off LNB feeding it.

Did Chorus do this to stop them realising how many free channels there are on Sky (Zero on MMDS when you cancel).

    It looks a mess.

Cable and MMDS, the boxes always belong to operator, Satellite you own everything except the viewing card.

Yes, as watty says, from day of installation, the equipment is yours, though if you break the terms of the contract, Sky will send a bill to you. At least, that's how it used to be.
