TBH, the bit it hooks onto the stand with doesn't look too secure. Wouldn't want to test it over a GT-8

meh gt8..... It is however about time that music companys realised there is more to a live show than the usual "tone" or... "Equipment" pft

Well, I was trying to think of a common but reasonably expensive floor unit that would be placed near the mic stand where a pint of "liquid" is mounted by a spring.

Personally I'd strap one of these to my back. No spillage and it has its own straw.

I've tried the beerhat and it doesn't work the best. Falls off too easily whilst rocking out.

A chin strap would solve that dilemma.

Or perhaps the easiest method, learn how to put a pint down on the ground without spilling it.

That might be fine for folksters sitting in a chair, but when I'm on stage I need half an acre to run around in.....and I'm the guy they say "never moves" (bassist) :D
Glasses on the floor are just feet magnets!

Hmmm...let's see.....Ludwig kit with double kick and 2 floor toms and extra cymbals, 2 Marshall 100w stacks, 150w crate 1x15 on top of a 2x15 cab, 4 boom stands for 3 guitars and singer, 4 large angled monitors, DI box and the end of the snake, and at least a 1000 cables taped to the floor for drum mics and monitors and vocal mics, even though the 3 guitarists use wireless, and 2 giant JBL PA cabs that are like 4 feet across. Add 4 human bodies in front of the drum kit. The dance floor is right in front of the stage.
Add to this the fact that most club stages are just big enough for the folk guy in the chair, and you've got little room for that table :p

Use a little table, one that holds all your guitar necessities like this:

    Lead guitarist: What's that?

Rustar: My new guitar table, cool, huh?
Lead and Rhythm guitarists: GET THAT OFF THE STAGE!
Singer: I wanna table too! <sniffle>
Drummer: Get a Swirlygig, they rock!

    :)

You can also use it to stand on to reach those high notes. I deserved to be banned for that pun!
