i know its fairly specific to hardware what sound you can be made but there is a general sound that can be listed, you know how to make a led zepplin sound or a cream ala disraeli gears sound - this is prob a bad idea (waiting for dr j and feylya to slates this ) but anyway ill start things off:

Strange Brew: Cream
v. low tone
v. high distortion

my digitech and vox settings tomorrow when the hangove clears

For Led Zep:

Gibson SG with SD '59 in neck and Custom in Bridge. Switched to neck pickup with tone rolled off.

ENGL Thunder 50: Gain: 4, Bass: 7, Mid: 6, Treble: 5, Channel: Crunch, Master: As loud as possible.

Yum, No effects.
