Just bought the first season with over 10 hours of footage for € 30,- and even though I didn't even remember half of the things this DVD collection brought back I have to admit that it was one fine example of good entertainment.

I am @ DVD 4 out of 8. On the third one there is Bruce Willis playing a villain and on the 4th one we have Michael Madsen and the guy that played "Pauli" in Rocky

If they're going to make a movie they should use the original actors.

€30 is a good price. Saw HMV selling it for €64.99.
I paid $34 while on holidays in America. 3 double sided discs.

Some great episodes especially Lombard, Evan, Smugglers Blues

Its mad, I don't think I've ever seen Miami Vice. What channel was it on? Used to watch everything from Mission Impossible, Matlock, Magnum PI, Cagney and Lacey, Jake and the Fatman and McGyver but can't remember Miami Vice at all. :(

As I recall it, it used to be on Monday nights on RTE 1 'back in the day'.....though I didn't really watch it much back then.

It has been shown on the Men and Motors channel recently and I think TV3 ran a series a few years back too.

Miami Vice was initially broadcast on Friday nights, RTE1, after The Late Late Show.

The first series commenced on either 29 November or 6 December 1984 and replaced Hammer House Of Mystery And Suspense which had ran for the previous 13 weeks.

I wasnt allowed watch it when I was younger on account of it being "too violent".
