So who likes it so far?

For me highlights were the Omo Plata from Joe Rigs and Forrest Griffins fight, who knew the TV star might actually be good!

Bobaloos' fight was cool but I felt could have been finished earlier, can't wait for Orlovski though!

As expected Arlovski devastated his opponent!
The guy or the viewers never saw what hit him, no doubt he was KO'd though from the replays, good stuff from Big John to stop it there and then!

Overall a good show, but now I want to see my favourite,Matt Hughes, fight for his title in UfC 56. Deadly!

well i'm pissed - i knew i would be and zuffa really came through in pissing off the ebtinre mma communtite - as can be seen by all the empty seats in the arena - just think 45 was a huge flop (35000 buys) and that had a much better attendance in the mohegan sun

    where do i start?

    - putting fighters into fights who were not up to ufc standards to make others look good - not only is it total bs - it is extremely dangerous

sakara was in a different class - if it wasnt for the groin kick things would have been very mseey for faircloth

    - same with hallman - he may have been a force at one time but he is so past it - dont bother with his record or past victories - it remended me of roy jones - sure he was great once but should not be in there with top fighters - simply cant do it anymore

both of those fights were reminiscent of wwf crica 85 - named guy versus jobber with the sole purpose of building a fighter for a ppv - the only problem was that this was meant to be a ppv show

yamasaki f~~ks up again - what a suprise - he is really starting to look ufit to referee fights - sisosic was clearly in the fight - and was doing well - despite a brief knock down he was conscious and totally aware as the replays shoed over and over again

on the other hand - great cal by mccarthy - not a popular decision but buentello was out

so annoyed with gannon being on the card - despite the attempt at damage control he had no right to be in a ufc show and was relieved for the sport that he got dominated

the new play by play belongs on entertainment tonight or something like that - didnt have a clue what was going on - even mispronouncing fighters - thats how illprepared he was to call a fight - rogan did practically all the play by play and colour himself - it was a mess

and 'the freakin peurto rican' - wtf - is this mma or cartoon wwf land??????

it was ugly - from the fights to the out of dept 'competitors' to the announcing to the carttonish feel - worst ufc card EVER - i have honestly seen better shows here - many kotc etc shows are of a higher standard - they killed so much momentum with that piss poor card

also interesting to notice how several fighters had t shirts with urls on them - but i doubt any will be fired and no one mentioned their sponsors name - plenty of fcf gear and 'thaksmy sponsor' - i geuss the pettiness extends to even mentioning the mma media now

I agree with pretty much all cmb said. It was a poor show, very poor by UFC's standards.

Good to see you spotted the omoplata E-man :)

Oh, I was very impressed by Chael Sonnen's effort.. Considering he was probably outweighed by about 20lbs (post-weight-in), he did astonishingly well. I knew of him in MMA but I had only ever seen one of his fights before that. I think he would do alot better at 185. I'm sure UFC will invite him back, spirited performance.
