Fender Bass VI

Hey. I was just wondering if any of you guys have ever played a Fender bass VI? Do they sound any good and can they relly produce a Bass Sound?

That's a baritone, right? I was very interested a while ago to see if anyone owned a long-scale and how they sounded. Seems the perfect thing for those looking for that big muddy Les Paul sound.

They do but not as well as a 34" bass. Fender Japan have one at the moment fastastically called the "Bottom Master" - basically somewhere between a Jaguar and a BassVI because they don't make real BassVI's anymore and a 2nd hand one will cost you big, big $$$
