    Localisation engineer
    5 years Localization engineering experience
    Solid experience of Trados Workbench, S-Tagger, WinAlign, XTranslate/Context TM
    Experience of Alchemy Catalyst or similar software localisation tool
    Good working knowledge of HelpQA/HTML QA
    Good working knowledge of VBA in MS Word and/or Excel
    Windows scripting/batch file knowledge is an advantage
    Any of FrameMaker/Quark/Adobe PhotoShop/Illustrator an advantage (from a file preparation/post-production perspective)
    Knowledge of .NET technology would be an advantage
    Thorough understanding of the localisation process from start to finish for software, help, doc and web content is required.
    Flash MX design and development - This can include modifying or creating

    Localisation QA Engineer Lead
    5 years plus Localization QA experience
    Solid experience of HelpQA and MS project
    Experience of generic QA localisation technologies
    Thorough understanding of the localisation process from start to finish
    Experience with managing / working with virtual teams
    Experience with performing sales support for testing function – including evaluating, preparing quotes, building test plans, delivering estimates, etc
    Self-motivated to succeed within the development team, analytical, methodical with attention to detail, willing to learn and a strong sense of responsibility.

    Technical Lead / Manager
    In this role, the candidate will demonstrate excellent technical ability across multiple platforms and technologies. They will possess strong leadership skills with which they will mentor more junior engineers. They will exhibit initiative in all areas of their work. They will be highly process driven and will take on full ownership of the technical elements of projects. They will require minimal supervision. They will provide direction to a team of software localisation engineers and provide daily reports on progress, status and issues. They will act as an escalation point for project related engineering issues. This person will work with teams based in the US and in our client’s country offices to resolve localisation and internationalisation issues.

    In this role, the candidate will be required to work on our client’s site in Citywest Business Park.

    A good understanding of the overall localisation business (outside of engineering) and the company strategy are a prerequisite of the Technical Lead/ manager as candidates in this role will be responsible for implementation of the company strategy at the production level.
