Your school might have a copy on file.

    :S

That's a daunting prospect... my school had 800 or so people in 6th year... dunno if they'd bother keeping them on file...

800 people in 6th year? The only school I know of in the country with so many people in it is the 'Tute and I can gurantee they have a copy on file.

Do they actually want to see your leaving cert results?

I've never bothered putting them on a CV.

I never actually got a Cert.. just the piece of yellow paper.. I'm sure the schools keep a record.. probably your best bet. Other than that I'd say you must have a rough idea... even of your points and wing it.. :D

If not, there's no fast way, they wont divulge it over the phone....

Recently I ordered a new copy from here:

And was surprised to recieve them within 2 days! An efficient civil service department in Ireland????

    You got me ;)

Sure they won't tell me over the phone :(

Unfortunately my CV has to be done online using the form the college has provided... Can't leave out my leaving cert results :(

Yeah, most I could get was my examination number... and my leaving was 10 years ago... Just make up some... ehh... approximations..

If you have 3rd level qualification they generally don't even want to see your leaving results, just put down something like...

    2000 - Leaving Certificate
2003 - Degree in Oncology (or whatever)

can the CAO not pull up your results when you have your exam number. mine came back when I applied for a college course as a mature student, I did my leaving in 1995

Hmmm.. not sure, that might work.. the wan I was talking to told me the only thing I could do was order a transcript posted out. I did my leaving in 1995 too! Maybe we're related....
