Anyone going from Birmingham Airport to Dublin?

Was at Alton Towers the other week and left my coat behind in Birmingham Airport. They have it at lost property but the thing is, they won't put it on a flight over and a courier costs waay more than I can afford at the moment.

If anyone is passing through Birmingham Airport on the way to Dublin, I'd really appreciate if you could bring it over and I'd meet you in Dublin airport.

I'll give €20 to you for bringing it and besides that, I'd be eternally greatful! :)

    Cheers

I assume they will hold onto it indefinately? one of the lads I went to liverpool with at the weekend has relatives in Birmingham, he goes over every few moths so if I'm talking to him i'll find out when he's going next and get him to pick it up for you if you dont get it before then.

Sentimental? Did his dying father give it to him with a map to the Holy Grail stitched into the lining of it?

Just laugh at him and tell him it was a crap jacket, and if he wants to continue going out with your sister he better buy a new one, and one for you too. ;)

I've got a friend coming over on the 20th.

    Could just imagine it now...
Well the jacket has gone through security already. The person'd be picking it up from lost property, where I would imagine if there was anything bad in it, they would've spotted it by now.

Billy the squid, Do i really have to explain my attempt at humour to you

Emerson, im not saying there is anything bad in the jacket, just saying its always stupid carrying something for a stranger through airport sercurity. Also as an example, if there was drugs or whatever in it they would allow someone to come and collect it to arrest them for posession.

its very simple, ask the people in lost property to get it searched by a police officer before you take it onto the plane or through security.

Jaggeh, would you collect a jacket from lost and found for a guy you dont know and ask the police to search it for drugs?
