just played it at rehearsal and it feels like your playin a bloody legend. unbelievably set up. It just plays itself. Neck is no nice. its everythin i want in a les paul for sure. Clean sound and distortion are beautiful

It's an indicator of the beauty of that guitar that it took me an hour or two to cop on to the carpet... I do love a great carpet

I like the white one too but there was an all Black 1980 LS50 for sale a while back on Ebay that was just ****ing beautiful. I would have bought it only for I'b be killed if I buy another guitar.

i hhave a black lp with gold hardware copy which i bought just on looks in germany. truely is a beautiful. Will post pics of all my guitars sometimes. honestly guys, i am playing in ardee tonight and ballyconnel 2morro nite and i cannot even wait to see how e handles on the circui. I DID HOWEVER, just notice slight varnish mistakes on back corner. you wouldnt see it but its there! all the same though its a fantastic guitar. Its unreal for the money. will never go to gibson!

I quite like my Gibson. I'd like to do an A/B with one of those Tokais if I ever got a chance. Was playing a few in Music Maker and none of them matched my Gibson, but I may not have been playing the right ones.

Have to be careful you dont pick up an inferior Korean model and also you'd want to try one of the higher models. Then consider the price. My LS80 Reborn was 1200 or roughly half the price of a LP Standard. Personally I think it plays a hell of a lot better than the 3 or 4 Gibson LP Standards I've played and I've saved a small fortune by getting a Tokai

gigged it last nite through my stage rig and its just unreal. Beautiful crisp tone. Only thing i noticed is my wah tends to make it a lot toppier with not mch bass scoop in it but that just means messing with my wahs frequency range i reckon. An absolute top class guitar that looks beautiful on stage. People comment on it more than the other guitarists Honey bust Lp classic

i find it hurts less if you dont fight it. When you have it in your hands its worth every penny. Nothing beats hearing the tone and versatility of it when its going through a nice amp. The guitar really screams. Just do it fey.....you know its right. Its what your hard earned money would have wanted

To be honest I wouldn't have paid full price for my Lp, but it's an older model that I got for about 1450, and it's a gem.

Well, to be honest, pre-1995, Gibson had much stricter Quality control, and thus put out a higher standard of guitar. you still get very nice modern Gibsons, but there are more bad ones in the mix now as well. By the way, I'm not an elitist, and I recognise that people like Tokai are putting out fabulous guitars for great moeny, but I

i understand completely. I just feel that really with modern guitars its more hit or miss than it use to be. You could get lucky or you get stung. I still love Gibsons. Just not their price/Quality ratio. i hope that gibson has gold hardware and cream binding.
