Just a quick question if anyone can help, but how can you block a website in firefox? I seem to remember being able to do it in IE, just wondering how you do it in firefox, thanks

Maybe add it to your HOSTS file (case-sensitive search, no extensions, text file)?

don't know the procedure in firefox however if you edit your host file as follows:

    http://(WEBSITE) 127.0.0.1

    Should do the trick

If you have adblock installed then you could add the root address of the site like this http://www.somewhere.com/* That might do the trick?

thanks for the advice, but sadly none of those options seem to work :(
    EDIT
i just found how to do it in firefox, if anyone else wants to know, just click adblock>preferences>adblock options and tick the 'block sites' button and then add in whatever sites you need to block :)
