    Alright folks, my flatmate is moving out and I just couldn't face playing Metroid Prime on a smaller telly than his 28" one :o

    I'd rather go for a name brand if at all possible.
    anyone know of any bargains?
    my budget it anything up to €400 i suppose, but i'd rather keep it at €250-€300.

    I live in the UK at the minute, ive been here for a year and it doesnt look like i'll be home any time soon. I have a 28" flatscreen CRT TV at home, which has been gathering dust. It retailed for 700/750 18 months ago so I'd be looking for around the 400 mark.

    I hadn't planned on selling it because its really cool. Its JVC Interiart make BTW! Based in Galway, maybe its of interest to you. You'd have to collect it from Knocknacarra. And it might be a week or two before I know if there'll be anyone to look after the sale for me. I'm back on Bank Hol Weekend though, so could maybe do it then.

    If the above didn't suit, you could do worse than ring up o'connors tv rentals and see what they have ex-rental.
    I hear of the odd person doing it and picking up a bargain.

    I bought a 15" Sony Wega that originally retailed for 500stg for 220stg about 6 months ago. handy small portable. and its well cool! :cool:
