Playing 12nl on vc. Sb is a standard semi loose fish. He has about $100. Utg is very very loose preflop, but plays ok/good from flop on. He likes to get to flops irregardless of the amount. We have been arguing since he took my stack by calling $40 preflop with 22 (about 1/4 of his stack) and flopping quads. I wasnt going to say anything but after a few seconds he said something along the lines of "ty". I have $200 and he has me covered.

Everyone limps, I make it $14 from the cuttoff with 68clubs. Sb and utg limper both call. They probably think im on tilt (which is kind of true).

Flop is 579 all hearts. SB checks, then utg leads out for $35. I call as does sb. Sb thinks for a while before calling. Im pretty sure he does not have a flush, but Im not sure about utg.

Turn is K. Sb checks and utg bets $50 I ???

I play alot of this level, and depending on who its against its very different. If its someone i respect its a fold.

But if its a new guy and i dont think he has the flush I'll push here, he could easily have AK with one of them being a heart. Generally alot of people would slow down the flush on 1/2 in early position. (Unless hes a regular)

When out of position and with the Ah or Kh don't loose players like to bet the flop and then try to get through the turn for cheap? Villain's $50 bet into a $150 pot on the turn could be him both swelling the pot if he hits on the river and also blocking HJ from betting the pot if SB and Villain both check to him.

Since you said this player is a good postflop player it has to be a fold. If he is not afraid of a flush after 2 players calling a bet close to the pot on the flop AND bets almost exactly the right amount on the turn to price you into to drawing to the flush then HE must have the flush. I tihnk he flopped the nuts and hopes you call with Kh or Qh

Given you details, I would have reraised to $90 on the flop and be very happy to get it all in.
If your stack was deeper(200BB) this would be more difficult.
On the flop his UTG range is vast, INcl QQ, JJ, top pair, 2 pair,Staight, Nuts, Ace hearts.
Your ahead of most of them.

His $50 looks weak. I think u can rule out JJ QQ. It mite be a weak lead that wants a raise from nuts hoping you've hit your King.
Would he have reraised you with AK outta the blinds pre flop?

How would you play AAh, KKh or top set here? Which you are ahead of. Given with these hands you have outs if he has made flush.

Folding is a mistake here imho. Given the fact they think your on tilt I push here. You'll get called by all sets, all 2 pair hands, AK with a heart.
But given the context you've supplied you've got a winner here most of the time, and warrants a push.

    Hop it all worked oout

If he had the flush and thought you were on tilt surely he would not have bet the flop, rather wait for you to bet it and reraise it. I would put him on Ahx or possibly two pair or a set but def not the nuts. Reraise him all in.

Of course Samba said you didn't post enough losses so this could be one :)

Your right careca. I called the 50 on the turn, I thought if I pushed I was only getting called by a flush. The river paired the board and utg bet out $20. I called and he had flopped the nut flush.

Theres a few things I could do differently, min raise the flop, fold the turn etc. Nasty hand.

Its easy to say that looking back but I'd probably lose my knickers in that hand. I'm not sure a min raise would have gained you anything since he's likely to smooth call. Horrible hand. The turn bet is too tough to get away from.

With AA i probably play it similarly, the same with KK bar going all in on the river.
