    First of I do not think the attacks on America are in any way funny.

    Anybody who knows me knows I would never think something like that.

    There was nothing in the thread to indicate that I was trying to be funny bar the unfourtunate smiley face in the topic.

    I by habit and not thinking clearly clicked the smiley face when posting. As most people have probably notice I always had the red grinning face with my threads. It's something I've done out of habit.

    I first got word of the plane crash about five minutes after it happened from a friend of my mine who is in Boston at the moment. Within half an hour the story was starting to break. Around an hour after the plane crashed I checked boards to see if anything was up on humanities. Nothing was and the only news site I could get through to was skynews.co.uk I wrote a post for humanities with a brief description of what happened plus a link to the site. While I was writing the thread I was also on the phone talking to a friend who was watching the events on TV and was also trying to serve customers. I must have clicked the laughing smiley face by mistake. There was no other indication in the thread that I was trying to be funny.

    I didn't appreciate Castor Troys edit of my post but I can understand why he did it. I do feel a little disappointed that people on boards could actually believe that I would deliberately do something as stupid as that.

    I have emailed both CT and DeVore and I hope the matter has been cleared up.

    You didnt get 12'ed because I didnt think you were that dumb.
    Mistakes happen.

    Kosomol (whatever) did get 12'ed because he effectively registered to troll and talk trash. I dont have the patience today to deal with that.

    FANJ - sorry about that, given the nature of the events I thought you were trying to be amusing, and probably over-reacted. I have been reading other boards and there some's pretty dispicable stuff going on which I wished to keep off of boards.ie if at all possible.
