The Ladder

There is a ladder in my mind,
That rises far above my thoughts,
It’s best not to try and understand it
For the fear it could bring bad luck

The way it is placed instils a fear,
This keeps my thoughts grounded,

If you want you too can try and climb,
Sometimes from the top I hear a call,
What stop me are too many steps,
Which for me are too many places to fall
