Barcelona!

Heading to Barcelona with a bunch of lads (as in 15 or so) at the end of November.
Hope to be taking in a football match (FCB V Racing Santander - should be easy enought to get tickets).

Would also like to know other suggestions to keep us out of the pub for a while - any ideas?

Barcelona is a great city. Lucky you for going over!

I advise you go and visit Sagrada Familia designed by Antonio Gaudi. Unbelievable architecture!! my 8th wonder of the world
The park Guell is also designed by Gaudi and is worse having a stroll around.

LOVE Barcelona! Great city. Definitely check out the Gaudi stuff as mentioned above, like the Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera & Park Guell. There's a tourist bus which brings you around all the major spots. Also, you can get a cable car up to Tibidabo which is a hill above the city - gives great views and there's a funfair/theme park type thingy up there which is good craic. For nightlife I'd recommend the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) - loads of restaurants/bars all in the one area. Have a great time

a load of lads i know went to it for a weekend awhile ago and weren't too impressed, they went for a driniking weekend though and wouldnt be too interested in architecture etc...
