redhat 6 on a comp without floppy

    ok ive got a P1 lappy with 16MB of ram and i wanna install redhat 6 on it now it can boot cds but the redhat 6 cd aint bootable.......would the only way to do this be burn the bootable flopppy to cd or is there an easier way?

    Burning the floppy to CD sounds pretty easy.
    Easier still might be to unpack the CD in a directory on another machine,
    and burn the whole lot using the floppy image as the boot image.

    Smart Boot Manager might allow you boot the CD you already have.

    What system would you be burning CDs on?
    An iso image is a copy of a CD, ready to be burned,
    rather than a file you copy to CD.

    Under linux, you would use mkisofs and
    use the -b bootdisk.img option to make it the bootable "floppy" for the CD.

    More details if you need them, but try SMB first.

    the lappy boots fine from cd but no floppy drive and redhat cd non bootable
