    Price range: 1,100 - 1,500

Intended use: Would like a 17" monitor on it but 15.4 would do, not really for gaming, not into games that much and even if i was i would use my desktop for it so it doesnt have to have an AMAZING card for games. Most of the time it will be plugged in, college and work, so battery life isnt that important either. Dvd burner is quiet important. Software isnt important as i have licenced software. 60-80gig hard drive. and wifi would be nice

I know (well used to know) a good bit about computers but fell so far behind. I have a acer travel mate 210t (celron 700) and i HATE it! haha but is acer after getting better?

And i get most of my computer stuff from www.jes.de ... any better sujestions or cheaper places or anyone had any trouble with warrentys from buying abroad?

Is ebay and laptops a definite no no, cause the same laptop on ebay buy it now was 1,200 compared to jes 1,400 ... but i need a reciept.

so any advice on which one on http://www.jes-computer.de/index.php?cat=196

Also will be getting a flat screen monitor (my first) so any advice on them aswell on jes would be much appriciated

Bought an ASUS from them last year for a friend and they said they could only supply laptops with German layout.
