Madden 2005 online

This could be a Broadband question but going to try here first. Has anyone played Madden 2005 online using Broadband. If so had you any problems with it as myself and my mate can't seem to be able to connect to the others PC. We use to have no problems using dial up but since we both have BB we cant do it. Please help.
