I know theres not too many cork guys here, but just thought someone might know something about it.

I haven't been to the macau yet, but was planning to get in there for the freeroll on thursday night... just to make my acquaintance with the place. I was just checking there website and it doesn't seem to be on this thursday, anyone know whats going on there?

also, does anyone know what the prizes for the freerolls are? I presume its tickets... but to what?

And how many players usually turn up for the tourneys? (not the freerolls, but the €20+5 and €50+5 etc).

AFAIK there are no freerolls in the Macau.
Anything from 30-60 players at the tourni's.
BTW which website were you looking at, didn't know they had one.

Nice site, cheers for the link. Havent been there in a while so never heard of the freerolls or what prizes there are.

Edit: just seen in the freeroll section "Prizes are in the form of tournament vouchers". Probably get credit that can be used in any of the other tournaments.

The first thursday night of every month they have a 200 euro freezeout but it'll be on again next Thursday. There's usually been between 55 and 65 the nights I've been there. There was over 70 the odd night.

They are also hosting the Irish Christmas Festival from 1st - 4th December. Main event is NL Holdem €1,000 Freezeout. Would you guys be interested in us putting up feeders / satellites on PPP for it?

Freerolls every Thursday and Saturday, except, as Blitzreiger points out, the first Thursday of the month.

The prizes last Saturday, my first and last freeroll, were top 4 get paid (of about 30), top prize being a 200 tv (tournament voucher). I think, but can't be sure, that this can be used in any toruney in the Macau, although they've recently started giving out tvs for their christmas festival (multiple tourneys for a week, a sort of WSOP-type affair, afaik)

ETA: This is presumably the Irish festival PPP talks about upstairs.

The freeroll is free, obviously, to sit down, unlimited rebuys for the first hour €10, 1 double top-up €10, then freezeout. They drop like flies after that, but there's a lot of fish.
