    I'd really like to know if there's anyone out there, I was looking to form a prog rock band before, but got no response from anyone in Galway. So I'd like to know if there's anyone out there, reguardless of what style or instruments you play.

    Well there is...! :) I was looking for a band in Galway as well... I'm a singer... had a few bands and projects at home... and play the guitar for about a year... not good though... (not YET) :cool:
    Punk, Alternative, Indie... that's my world...
    Well... there's always time for a jam... so just write me...

    Drummer in my band (on here as the_obsolete) is from galway but is located in limerick now. Think he lived in ballinasloe but parents recently moved to just outside the city. He claims to not have met anyone with faster footwork than him.

    Me n me buddy r down here in NUIG. we've been tring seriously hard to get a people for a band.
    We both play guitar. I play keyboards ad bass aswell.

    In the ''culture capital' of Ireland, why is it so goddamned hard 2 find musicians?!

    I play music and am from Galway. Not really into Prog Rock though I'm afraid-best of luck with it!

    This is a true claim from moi, but then again I've never tried my luck in the cities.
    I'd be honoured to form a prog rock band, but once again I'm stuck down here in Limerick during the week n all me drummin stuffies be down heare alsos.
