I've been searching all over the internet and can't seem to find a rat breeder!
I live in Cork and have no idea where to find a good pet rat.
I know where to get good cages and food and bedding and such...I just can't find any rats!

    Can anyone help me?

I saw a lovely one in a mullingar pet store... did not say it was a rat but looked like one.

I know several people / pet shops around the Dublin area that keep (or at least kept) rats. I'm not sure if they have any at present.

One piece of advice I would give is if you do intend to keep rats, get at least 2. Rats tend to be very social, and if a rat doesn't have another rat to socialise with it will bond very closely with its owner.

They are very affectionate though, and do make good pets.
