    I think its only a multiplayer map and think I read that somewhere.

    landser, I think he's talking about Wake island 2007 for BF2.

    think the original AI was on a per map basis ?? in 1942 ...

    so I'd guess its the same with this version ?? and they didn't do any of the AI for the map .. so that would be the reason ??

    please feel free to correct me on this :)

    Yep, that's the reason.

    Also why all of the custom maps are MP only.

    if u look at single player maps alla re 16 player sized, wake is only a 64 man map so therefore is not available in single player (think its so if ppl get illegal copy of bf2 they miss out)

    i think wake island is one of the better maps, along with karkland and gulf!
