Its not an addy persae.

I have no idea how much you know about it so...

You need to download an irc client. www.mirc.com is your best bet.

Then install and load up the program.

When its loaded type the following into the white box that says Status at the top:

/nick Carnate
/server irc.barrysworld.com
/join fortress.ie

If you want to Private message someone then just double click their nick on the right hand side.
