    I was in Tower browsing yesterday and this caught my eye. looks very cool.

    is the film any use?

    Haven't seen it myself, but it got 7.47 on anidb.net, so it should be a good watch. Genre was Action/Dementia....so it could be like FLCL (which was great). Probably worth the watch.

    what FLCL? is that a shortening of a few words?

    FLCL ... probably shortened from Fooly Cooly/Furi Kuri which are the other names it masquerades under, but it was a name chosen because ti sounded cool but didnt make sense so it hardly matters.

    In summary, Dead Leaves was mental and enjoyable enough, but not fantastic. Visually interesting and imaginative, but its not on the same level as FLCL which is sublime AND ridiculous.

    It's region4 though.
    Well worth owning, one of my favourites. It's only 6 episodes long but is really good.
    Oh and never mind that Fooly Cooly nonsense it's not called Fooly Cooly.
