Jap import Avensis?

The Toyota Avensis is only built in the Uk as far as I know.

The Mk I Avensis 1997 - 2003 as far as I know was called the Caldina and was only available as an estate. Seen a few of these for sale over here. I think they sold a saloon car similar to the Avensis called the Corona or Carina in Japan.

The current Mk II Avensis is built in the UK and exported back to Japan.

Thanks bazz, I'm thinking of getting a Jap import Toyota, maybe a Camry.
Needs to be diesel, automatic and a saloon, anyone any suggestions as to what car and where to buy from?
