    Hi
    I have a Pentax mz-50 35mm SLR camera and a few lenses.
I am thinking of upgrading to a Digital SLR of some kind.
My question is, can I get a Digital camera that accepts my lenses?
I’m not quite sure how to distinguish the type of lens, Two of them have the letters KA on them if it’s relevant. They have a bayonet type locking mechanism to attach to the camera body.
Do I have to buy a Pentax camera or are lenses generally compatible with different makes and models of camera?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    brooksp

I believe the new Pentax ist-D digital SLR accepts older Pentax AF lenses. A trip to the likes of Con's or Gunn's camera shops would answer this for you in seconds. What Pentax lenses do you have btw? I might be interested if you ever decide to sell some. Particularly a short lens.
