Im looking for a lefthanded, maple necked, 30"" (junior) scale neck, blue body colour bass.
My little brother is starting bass and thats what he wants, i guess a squier would be best, nothing to expensive.

I've checked all the usuals, musicstore.de, musik-produktiv.de, thomann.de and music123.com but i haven't found any. Im not lefthanded myself so i dont know where to look to find lefthanded basses. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered getting him to learn right handed? If he never played before on a left hand inst, then he should pick it up grand plus the extra strength in the fretting hand would be an advantage. Rightie basses are a lot cheaper/easier to find/sell on at a later stage

I thought of that, he much prefers lefthanded, he's using a left handed full scale bass at the moment but its way to big for the guy.

TBH, it might be the only way you'll get a short scale lefty bass for sensible money. The neck would be fine, you'd just have to reverse the nut and adjust the bridge for correct intonation. The only other lefty basses I could find other than this were all fairly pricey.

Cheers for your help, I'll head into music maker this weekend and see if they can order one in for me, it will obviously be a more expensive than buying online but at least it will be the right one.
