    Windows XP SP3 will be available in the course of next year, after the launch of Windows Vista, which "is the priority for the development teams", according to Microsoft France.

    It looks like we're safe for the moment we'll have to wait until Vista is released which they say is next year but will probably be delayed as per usual

    So SP 2.5 has been shelved then :(

    Great having to wait for a year for the next SP and then another few months for the guinea pigs to find out all the gotchas before it will be usable.
