Word reformatting my text, argh

MS Word keeps reformatting the text I paste into it (copied from the web). In paste options I have "Keep Source Formatting" selected, but to no avail. What's going on? :confused:

i hate that too, i paste into notepad first, and then into word

The text you are pasting is formated, probably as HTML. So Word can't find a "Style" that matches so it changes to whichever Styles is closest. Exactly how it chooses I don't know. As bounty said you'd be best pasting it into notpad first, then into work. Or when you've pasted it, apply a style to the text.
