    Hi,

Having a problem with my new rig . Asus A8N-SLI with 2 x Gainward 660GT 128Mb "Ultra/1960PCX GS". Mainboards is configured for dual cards but whenever I enable SLI and try to play any game (e.g. Far Cry or HL2) at 1280 x 1024, I get a thick green band running vertically on the left of the screen and a couple of thin green lines running horizontally. Cards are sitting tight, SLI bridge is fine. Running latest nDividia drivers

    Any ideas ?

    Ix

    Overclocked?
    CRT or LCD monitor?
Does this happen at any other resolutions?
    What wattage is your PSU?
Does it only happen in games, and does it occur from the very start of play?

You ticked both boxes on the SLI page of the driver without reading what they were, didn't you?
Untick the second, I can't remember the name at the moment but you should just have "Enable SLI" ticked.

Not overclocked yet .. just newly built. NEC Multisync LCD. 600W PSU.
Only happens in games and from the start.
Haven't really tried it at other resolutions .. the LCD is fussy about resolutions lower than 1280 x 1024.

Can't remember re: the both boxes being ticked .. will have a look at it again tonight ..

What I've said is the problem.

It a feature of the drivers where you can see the loads that each card is carrying, and which portion of the screen it is working on.

Aha, I've remembered. It's called "Show Load Balancing". Untick that and the green lines will be gone.
