    Yea it really is pretty sweet. Wouldnt mind it myself. Pop a 200euro gfx card in there and you've got a monster for 1100

    And I'd be happy with it without the gfx card

    Does anyone know if you dont order the graphics card with it,is there a slot for a graphics card in future on this system so one can upgrade.

    It would be AGP if it had any, and they only go up to 6800Ultra

    Also you'd better make sure the poewr supply could handle a graphics card

    I got a 5000 (incl 6800) and that was PCI express so, seeing as the 5100 is that models replacement i'd imagine it would be pci express as well

    That looks like a great deal. Would it be worth the extra €85 to get the Ultrasharp 19inch LCD?

    Well ya see str8_away that the original pc I was pointing to:

    Is not the one now listed under that code any more...
    It is now changed to (D10512) Dimension 5150 3.0GHz, with 17inch mon, 1gig ram ... you still can however change the warranty to reduce the price...

    As it happens I rang Dell, and gave them that e value. Was told that the 5100 is no longer being sold, its the 5150. They gave me the same specs in the D5150 for €905. Fantastic! :D

    I called the day after and they told me the same the 5100 was now the 5150 but they didnt offer to give me the the offer on the 5150. What did you say? :D

    I just said that the offer was there the day before, I'd like to order it if its still available. Rep told me that the 5100 is now the 5150 and that he'd see what he could do.

    Next day I had my quote for the same spec on the 5150 machine. €905. Oh yee! :D

    That's fairly impressive!

    So you got the 19inch mon and the extra gig of ram?
    I wish I hadda had the money, they wont be offering something like that again for a while...
    Funny thing as well was, the offer was 905euros, but thru sterling it working out about 50euro cheaper - and they ship the stuff over from ireland!
    Disgrace, but still a damned good deal!

    That's a forkin' great deal! Sh1t, I paid that for a Dimension 4600 w/17" flat panel, last Christmas... :mad:
    OK, that included a dual-layer DVD-RW and a 3-year warranty, but still..!
