The Wrong Checkbox..........

Unadulterated pain earlier in the 380 satellite for the EPT in Dublin on PokerStars. Was in 10th chip position with about 30/184 runners left. 10 seats for grabs. Someone raised, and instead of hitting the "Fold" checkbox, hit the "Call Any" checkbox, and lost 1/3 of my stack.

Couldn't retrieve the situation with the blinds and antes eating me. Lost to a rviered Jack to really cripple me. Finished in 23rd. Was in a good position and blew in with a lapse of concentration.

Moral of the story........... God knows. Probably don't use checkboxes, wait for buttons, or stay alert at all times, even after 5 hours of a tournie. Wish I could blame a bad beat or a bad player but alas not.

Yep i had an epensive lesson before. Every one was limping into the pot for 4$ and just, the split second, that I went to check the Call4 check box, i guy raised to 16....and i called with 34 suited.......but to make things even worse the flop was 25K....and there was a big bet, i had to call with my str8 draw....and after the turn brought no help i couldnt call the next bet of allin....i felt like a **** wit....pot cost me around 45 dollars from lack of concentration....no big deal but i havent used check boxes since.

I only ever use the fold checkbox.

What i've done is one day, early in a tournament, where I intended to raise to 120 and ended up typing in 1200 and hitting enter. Luckily noone called.

Playing on PokerStarts last night a player called an all-in with 75o.
His explanation was his wife was talking to him at the time.

Hard luck. I was watching the later stages and spotted you in good position. Wondered what happened. It's not the first time someones made that mistake and wont be th elast. I try my best not to be tempted to use the checkboxes but sometimes its hard to resist them. :)
