There's a fairly large Classic BMW Specialist in the North of Holland, Brové
Restaurations, supplying parts and stuff for all classic/modern BMW's.

If you want me to give you their details or you'd like me to enquire about specific items, give me a shout and I'll see what I can do.

They have actually developed a road legal and unique E9 Convertible, based on the 3.0Csi Coupe!!

Thanks Paul, the main parts I need are left and right front wings, left and right front doors, bonnet, front and rear bumpers and most chrome trims also the front section of the soft top and a windscreen rubber. If its too much trouble you could get me their e-mail address. Secondhand parts would do as this car is a daily driver not a show piece.

It's a unique car allright. These guys have spent years developing the convertible, and it's truly a handbuilt car. They have done this in cooperation with the Dutch road authorities to ensure the car would be classed road legal.

It's on special order only. I think this one is one 'they'd made earlier' a couple of years ago that is now for sale again. Electric hood, leather interior, brand new reconditioned engine, you name it.

Personally, I have to say visually it works better from the front than the back ;)

Mmm yeah maybe. It seesm to have issues at the rear deck !

I was with a restorer in Northern Ireland who are restoring an E9 estate ! Apparantly there were two built before it was decided too costly. This guy owns both of them, one as a spare and the other was 85% completed when I saw it, and that included the last brand new engine that BMW had in stock. It was a complete unit, not just a short block. The guy bought it years ago !

It looked pretty nice but there was a lot of those "shooting brake" type vehcile built by coachbuilders in the early 70's, Jags/Mercs/Astons etc..........they never looked quitev right IMO !
