I really like it... its like the Windows XP default desktop without the hills... and a definite 'lonely landscape' vibe going on. Nice work...

Good photo, well spotted and has potential.

    Corrections:

    Horizon
    Metering
    Colouring
    Balance

    Tell me what you think.

i might look into the colouring but i don't want to mess with the other aspects to much

Yeah, i know what you mean. But you do know that those Windows XP backgrounds that come with WinXP are computer manipulated etc.. yeah, the colours is prolly the most important part. Nice photo none the less.

Note the time difference between him posting the pic and me posting mine!

    01-10-2005, 21:34 < His post
    01-10-2005, 21:57 < My post

23 Minutes! I prolly edited about 10 mins into that, the posted a further 5 mins later, therefor I spent only about 10 mins max doing it! that's the reason for the glitches in the cloning!

Just use the patch tool for things like that.... it's a lot quicker and more effictive.

Did you vignette it on purpose?

If not why are the edges darker than the centre or was this taken with a holga or something?

i have no idea why it turned out this way. the camera i used (name escapes me) was actually used to take photo's of my ma when she was pregnant so that gives you an idea on the type it is.
there was no filters or anything like that.
