Ah, we're in the B, you're in the C, right?

It's a bit crap that it's the only football we'll get like.

I'm really surprised how poor the standard is in club football in Meath at the moment. I play for a Junior Club in Cavan at the moment and we have played a number of teams from Meath in challenges this year, St. Pats, St. Ultains, Simonstown, and Bective to name a few.

We put up a decent challenge to St. Pats even though we only had about quarter of our first team out, I think we lost by about 9 points in the end. We played Simonstown, with less than quarter of our first team out and beat them by 14 points in Navan. St. Ultains were a decent side that played some good football and we had a couple of close games with them. Bective were very poor altogether, we had our B maybe even C team out against them and beat them by about 12 points.

Now we are absolutely no great shakes at all. We lost in the JC semi-final in Cavan by 11 points. I cannot understand why this is happening to clubs in Meath. I think it has alot to do with commitment and I think it is having an effect on your county team. It's sad to see the county taking such a fall...
