Waxoyl

Quick question: Is Waxoyl only for use inside cavities or can it be used on exposed panels. Eg painted or sprayed onto floorpans, subframes, wheelarches etc. I am talking about plain old Waxoyl which comes in a yellow tin or spray can. Not to be confused with underbody sealant. IIRC this is a mixture of Waxoyl and other stuff and comes in a black can.

Also, has anyone here used Waxoyl on their classic and if so how did you find it?

While I'm at it has anyone any comments on the underbody sealant mentioned above.

I put it every where be sure to wax car first and leave it on don't buff it {i find MER wax the best and have tried them all} as it can get every where it shouldn't be. But on areas that get most abuse I used the thicker stuff in the tub, like the arches and floor. Just remember when it gets hot it can become sticky again.
