Astrodome: Within two minutes of AFP photographer Stanly Honda electronically publishing a photo of Katrina victim Latesha Vinette holding up her Red Cross debit card, Ms. Vinette was paged by the management of Reliant stadium to receive a call from Mastercard asking about cash advances totally $65,237, the attempted purchase of a Ferrari automobile using her card #, along with hundreds of purchases from eBay, including, ironically, camping gear.

Don't understand the "God Bless America" part.
Is it implied that the fraud was happening in America? But that doesn't make sense since the card details was available on the web.

Maybe it is not a sarcastic thread title, as the poster may believe that giving out $2,000 debit cards was a good way to help Katrina evacuees who had no access to cash.

the idiots who posted the picture should of at least blanked out the numbers FFS, or if the person was smart she should of put her finger over the last numbers.

wow, robbing someone who's already just lost everything they own, that's pretty f*cking low.
It's a stupid mistake that the picture was published unedited but the fact that someone would actually go use those numbers disgusts me.
