I need a small, not-too-noticeable tattoo

    Hi everyone,
I am thinking about getting a tattoo done that is small and easy to hide. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get it done? I want a really pretty one (maybe a butterfly) and was thinking of getting it done on my hip.

    Thanks

    Nala

    Butterflys are way over done.
Think about your own personal interests, maybe you're into music or sports, or you have a favourite book that you could use an illustration from ? maybe some thing taken from a piece of art you like?

This is to be your first tattoo, so put a bit of thought into it or it might do your head in in years to come.

Also, any of the decent tattoo places will warn you that they blur a bit (not a huge amount but enough to matter if the tat's small/extremely detailed) over the years so if you get too small a tattoo it'll look like crap after 15 years or so.

You can always get them retouched though.

I'd personally recommend a small dot. (Example: . <-I'm an artist.)
    Perhaps located on your bottttom!
    (small, easy to hide)

well, I honestly think, that since your askin us (a bunch of strangers) 1)where you can get it done on you'er body and 2)what kinda thing YOU want done..you should not get anything at all, until YOU'RE sure that you even want one.Cos if you're not 110% about it, there's just no point. There's no point getting a tattoo for the sake of being able to say 'I have a tattoo'.
Just go away and think about it and get something that you really want and like.sure a butterfly is pretty, but it's pretty on the whole load of other people who got it for the sake of having a tattoo too.
