am blocked from downloading?HELP

    :confused: Does any one know how i could work my way around being blocked by college from downloading with limewire???

    mmmm, dodgy stuff alert!
    You can use a HTTP version of Kazza (google), which i would imagine just uses port 80. I have never used it, i never will either cuz if you go using software and download stuff like that in a college your just asking for trouble mate

    Just email the systems administrator and let him know that you need port 6346 opened on the college firewall so you can use Limewire. I'm sure they would be more than happy to help *.

    there is only one way to find out Scotty, but know first that your college pc administrators might have measures in place to catch people abusing the system. I'm sure they are probably monitoring how much bandwidth is been used and where....
