I was thinking of getting rid of my pc and getting myself an apple ibook. However i have about 300g of music/movies etc that i would want to keep on my portable harddrive, can i use them on the ibook at all?

Also if i cant do that id like to get my self a cheapish laptop (not dell) for college. Basicly for writing my thesis and various other college essays, i dont game and as i said ill have a pc to store mass amounts of music.

    Any suggestions
