What good quality mixers, or cocktails mixtures do you use?
Some people have no problem forking out top dollar for branded spirits but are scabby when it comes to the mixers. Or will buy marketed overpriced liquers like aftershock but wouldnt pay for decent juice. Or the sin of sins, people buying special aged whiskey or rum and lashing in coke on top of it (like making batter burgers out of fillet steak  ).

My favourites are Marks & Spencer freshly squeezed pineapple juice.
Any freshly squeezed juice in a juicer machine.
Squeez pressed apple juice and vodka is pretty good.
Fresh cream mixed with any fruit juice.
    Schweppes lemonade.
Britvic 55 if you still want fizz, or better still put freshly squeezed juice mixed with your spirits in a soda stream.

I also get good quality liquer mixes at www.partyman.se

Schweppes for tonic, soda and white lemonade. Freshly squeezed or pressed orange and apple juice. I try to avoid concentrated orange juice because I find it very cloying.

I make my own sour mix with freshly squeezed lemon and lime juice and organic cane sugar for things like long island iced tea, which turns out really great.

I find it's like the concept of 'cooking wine' - why the hell would you throw cheap crap in on top of good quality ingredients?

the stuff is gorgeous! i was hooked on it for months.
it goes well with most spirits

Any time someone I know goes off to France, I beg them to bring back a bottle of Mr. Cocktail. It's a brand of non-alcoholic mixer type things, some of which are very tasty. I'm a shameless fan of the kiwi and lime flavour one. So much so that sometimes I drink it in shots, neat. It's very sweet, tangy, and "juicy" in that it'll make your mouth water. Great with various drinks like vodka, gin, martini, and the like. I would love to try it with absinthe, but never had access to both at the same time yet...

I also enjoy most fruit juices, and a gin with Schweppes is always welcome.

Theres a few mixers on the market now, tescos have some, and o'briens. They look horrific, cheapy bottles loaded with food colouring, they cost a fair bit too. Too much to just try out, esp. as they look so bad, but maybe one or 2 are alright.

Honey in rum is nice too, I have also soaked rum in dessicated coconut. Condensed milk also mixes well, if you get "irel" coffee essence you can make a nice baileysesque drink.

schweppes make the best "baby" mixers out of all the ones available in ireland.
finches just don't make the grade.
whoever made that point above i thouroughly(sp) agree with.

juices have to be fresh, but if not available britvic juices tend to be quite close to the mark.
Joker orange juice is my personal fav though
