    Not sure if I'm in the right forum (apologies if I am not) but I have a bunch of Camcorder tapes that I want to copy to Disk. The Camcorder is a Canon Hi8 and I have a CD writer in my Dell PC. Two questions....

    1) what kind of card am I looking for? (I've seen TV tuner cards but they all seem to be for digital only - my camcorder is not)
    2) can I copy them to a CD or do I need a DVD writer?
