    Hey guys just thought id mention it.

    There is a brand new martial arts equipment site up thats based here in ireland. Its called, www.pad-up.com and it has a great selection of gear. I have just purchased some sparring gear off them for a very reasonable price.

    Thanks for that. Must check that out. I bought from Playwell.co.uk... they charge for P&P, so a site in Ireland I can buy from would probably cut down on shipment costs I'm sure.

    If Pad-up is an irish based site, why then do they have all the prices in UK pound??

    they are in uk pounds because all the manufacturers are in the UK. If prices were displayed in Euros they would have to be updated every day due to currency exchange rates :) . They provide an approximate euro equivalent as a guide line.

    I used to buy from playwell but now I've found a local crew its nice to support them. I bought a BOB from www.pad-up.com last month - there damn cool!

    I also got a 5% lifetime discount as a present for offering comments on how to improve their site! - nice touch.
