Recently got a asus K8V-MX motheboard with a Sempron 2800 CPU for it. When plugged into a power supply and case the PC starts but doesnt give post beep and now image on the monitir. I am using 256 mb ddr ram. I tried swapping this to see was that at fault but it wasnt. Am very stuck now, can anybody figure this onw out for…

As well as this now when i connect the power button from the case to the board the board doesnt startup but when i contact the reset pins with a screwdriver it starts but keeps restarting. PLEASE NEED HELP

How do you know its starting up if theres no post beep and nothing on the monitor ?

And, stating the obvious - Did you re-check all your cables ?
