When I set up a recording either that recorded channel is ok and all the other channels come up 'No satellite signal being recieved' or the recorded channel has the signal message (thus a failed recording) and the other channels are fine. How can I fix this problem? Thanks.

Do you have two inputs going from your satellite into your Sky+ box? Sounds like you only have one. Sky+ requires two seperate cables from the dish to the box.

I have had Sky+ for a year now and had no problems. So I presumed I had 2 inputs.

    Input 1 Signal strength: halfway
Input 1 Signal quality: about 9/10 full

Imoput 2 strength and quality are both empty

I just checked the back of my box, the metal part of the connection that goes into the input 2 port is still there but the wire is gone missing.

Woops! That'll do it every time.

Found the wire and put the connection back on, the strength bar is back up. Problem solved. :)
