RAM. Thats the type of thing that happans to RAM. Have you got 1 or 2 sticks of RAM? If you have 2 Try one, and boot, then try the other and boot.

If it's still failing then you have a heat issue with the CPU or something like that.

More then likely your ram is ****e

ok tried taking out the ram, trying the different sticks and even trying booting without, wen i go to power up,i get FF flashing on the mobo which is boot int attemp, any other suggestions out there??!

Did you get any beeps without the ram?If not then its cpu or motherboard. Can you get into the bios?Could the heatsink be fitted incorrectly or the fan not working?

    First of unplug every thing;

    benq dvd rw
    wireless card
256mb x600 pro radeon graphics card

Remove the 1 stick of ram (If your using 2 that is) - see if the comp will boot.
if it still fails - unplug the hd and try again.

If that fails - double check your wiring set-up (Case to mobo) - make sure your usb, power on etc are all connected correctly and try to reboot.

If that fails - it's probably one of the above mentioned problems - thermal overheat (cpu) or ram or mobo. Can't see it being the psu as you've allready rma's that once. highly unlikely you'll get two dodgy ones one after the other.

More than likely a thermal overload but that shouldn't stop the comp rebooting once it's cooled a bit.

Check your wiring up - I know incorrectly wiring usb ports will mess up similar to this (And generally blow the mb as well).

If it does boot up - add each component you unhooked and see if the fault reappears..

suspect a bad wire up myself though ....

I didnt get any beeps without the ram, nothing actually happens, the computer wont even turn on so no i cant get into the bios, the cpu isnt fried either cos had a look at that, took out all the cards, tried just using mobo ram and cpu and psu and nothing, cant figure out what to do really.Who do u actually get to look at these problems!most of the tech supposrt in the computer shops are complete dopes!I'll try giving komplett a ring and see what they say..

A bit far from cork!!!Its cpu or motherboard problem and if the motherboard light is lighting problem is "probably"cpu.

If it was me i would get it checked in another board.

    regards Kieran

Huh? You can't tell if a cpu is blown just by looking at it - unless it's been blistered. ok your getting no power up at all? no beeps or nothing? Check how you have it wired up or you have wired it wrong - only thing I can think is wrong.

Also - please tell me you took correct 'Anti-Static' precautions when handling cpu, ram etc? Have you checked to make sure the mobo isn't grounding? Strip it out of the case, place on a foam mat with cpu, ram, hd and psu only - see if it boots then.
More than likely you've blown your mobo or cpu sad to say.

Hope you get it fixed :(

Ya i just looked at the proccessor,Nothing at all happens when i hit the power button except FF flashes on the motherboard which means boot int attempt and i mean absolutly nothing else happens,it flashes for bout half a second, and ya i used anti static measures while i was doing everything,i just put the power suply in,plugged it in and touched it before i touched any off the components.Whats the deal with taking the motherboard out of the case?!Il try anything at this stage to get it to work, this is a new motherboard again!im guessin it must be the cpu,any other way i can know if it that without checking it in another compu?!how could the mobo be grounding??!?!i think the wiring is fine....

took the mobo out of the case, and connected it to the power and got the same result, thinking could be proccessor, gona try and check that on monday in another socket 939

Turns out that the first time my computer wouldnt work it was actually a power surge and then the second time the mainboard was slightly touching off the case somehow,am sickened, guessing komplett arent gona let me rma it...
