What tv + radio channels are available with a British non-subscription FTA viewing card. I am considering getting one and would like to receive radio 5 live.

With the UK FTV card you would get:
    BBC 1
    BBC 2 (all regions)
    Channel Four
    Channel 5
    BBC Parliament
    BBC News 24
    BBC Choice
    BBC Knowledge
All major BBC radio channels inc. R 5 Live
    ITV1 & ITV2 (when it becomes available)

And I think, Sky News, Shopping Channels, Religious channels and I think one or two of the Music Channels. Though I could be wrong on that.

Unfortunately the Q music channel was fta untill a month or so ago but is now family pack-or possibly that bare min thingy offering sky have, there are no other fta or ftv music channels left :(
BBC knowledge is imo a totally excellent channel
All the usuals( that don't require any card) are there also (Cnn,ITN, Euronews etc)
An interesting development is that Boomerang is there as a 24hr cartoon channel also totally fta-I'm partial to all those old hanna Barbara catoons myself.....

Boomerang isn't 24 hours yet though it will soon change. I think within next few weeks. I believe the channel has been a huge success probably coz it's free. Wonder why Cartoon Network itself isn't free on digital satellite. Or Eurosport and EurosportNews for that matter. They're FTA on other satellites.:(

Eurosport has never been free on any UK digital platform. When OnDigital started it was a primary channel, and it still is to this day. I imagine they are using the subscription money they get (which, to be honest, can't be that much) to plough into the British Europsort version.
