If he's selling on ebay.co.uk, then shoes are arranged according to UK sizes, which are the same as here. If you're unsure, then email the seller for info.

Beware buying runners from the States, as their shoe sizing is different to ours.

Good luck, I've bought a lot of runners on eBay, and have picked up some great bargains, as well as getting runners that I've never seen in this country

Sizes tend to be the same for one brand. For instance, I'm a size 4 in Puma and Nike, but I know from experience that I need a 5 in Adidas.

But if you're unsure, ask the seller about their returns policy. The decent sellers will be prepared to accept goods back and refund you. Be prepared to lose the P&P money however.

any good sites besides ebay to buy runners?

i got a pain in my hole walking around town looking at 100 bright white runners, and being told the only pair i might like are only size 7s by some lazy sales guy, who mightnt even have checked

i just started buying runners on ebay, looking forward to delivery, i used to buy things from the states but im a little impatient so im using the uk site only now. im sure the states would have a better selection. bounty is right, the selection of nice runners in ireland is crap. i hate white, and all the black runners look the same. plus online is cheaper

eBay's a great place to get footwear. If you can, try on a pair of the brand you want to get in your size (unless you've got big feet too, you'll have to make an educated guess). Most shoes have US/UK and EU sizes on them. Bear in mind that a lot of eBay footwear will be listed as the US size but read the whole description or contact the seller to make sure.

Nike shoes need a size up from most, for example if you're a size 13, you'll need a 14 (try asking for that in Champion). Size 14 UK ~ size 15 US.

Also, bear in mind that shipping costs vary from $30-40 upwards.

I can recommend these as I've used them and had no problems (except stupid GLS delivery f*ckers)

and some I've bookmarked as they will deliver internationally (last time I checked):

There's more but I can't find them at the moment.

    It is what it's.

Anybody know where to get shiny tracksuits to go with runners? I have an uncontrolled urge to hang around Pennies and go "Story bud...." :p

just went to the nike site, and found you can customize your own runners

im talking about: choice of designs, colours of every matherial used, every size (even half sizes)

3-4 weeks for delivery, and apparently the 1st week of october is a chineese holiday, so its going to take a week longer

I bought a pair of Nike runners from ebay in June, was grand because I had the exact same pair already (but bought in Australia) so I knew the size would fit (and it did), and also they weren't to be found anywhere in Dublin

I would recommend "elitesuperstores" which is the UK based seller that I bought from via ebay

auction ended the Wednesday , runners arrived on the Friday, couldn't ask for more

    and good luck :)
