    Lo folks.

In Fig. 1. above, there is a Pace 2500N digibox. I've recently come into contact with a AV sender, which has a couple of IR sensors on a trailing lead back to the AV sender. All is working, but I'm not sure if I have the IR sensors in the right place, as it takes a couple of presses to get the desired function from the Sky remote. Its very hard to see on the front of the box, where the IR sensor actually is.

In Fig. 2. above, I have circled where I positioned the IR eye for the AV sender, and my questions are...

    a) is it in the right location
    And if no,
    b) where then?

    Cheer dudes.

    Damo.

There are several versions of the 2500. Really. They don't seem to have anything in same place except the layout at front looks the same.

Get a big sheet of card or cooking foil with a hole about 1/4" and move it around in front of digibox very close to panel.

I pushed my boxes well back in shelves and put IR emmitters of Video senders at front of shelf.

My JVC S-VHS also has IR out cable which seems to change channel on the Digibox fine too for timer recordings.

I find the IR sensor on my video sender's receiver at remote TV, is very insensitive and narrow angle, it needs to be exacting facing me. This was case with Tompson and Lidl models
